I got this Bible as a gift for my Grandmother and she loved it! The type is easy to read and she can read it without her glasses. The easy flip indents are extremely handy and the ribbon bookmark is very nice. With most large print bibles, they are rather bulky and hard to carry around places, but this one is just the perfect size. It is not bulky at all and is easy to travel with and take with you about any where. It is not to heavy to carry around and when you open it on your lap or on the table it lays flat and you don't have to hold it open. The cover is just beautiful and this picture dose not do it justice. This Bible is incredibly soft and even though it is not leather, it is enjoyable to hold and feel. The pages are a little thin but to get the versatility that you have, they have to be, so you just have to be a little more careful when turning pages. (On a side note, a lot of Bibles have those thin pages as well so it is nothing new.) This translation is my favorite because it is easily understood so you can spend more time thinking about what you are reading and it's meaning and less time trying to figure out what your reading in the grammatical sense. The other feature that is extremely handy is the summery at the beginning of each book. It over views what happens in each book so you will have a general picture of the book before going into the details. So over all I am very, very happy with this purchase and recommend it highly.
