I have purchased several different versions of children's bibles, and this is our favorite. It is written in a language and font that is easy for kids to read, and it includes pictures on every page to draw their interest, and it has maps of biblical places.One of the best features is that is includes the whole Bible, but in shortened form. So many children's bibles just pick out a few scripture passages to include, so children don't learn all the parts of scripture. This book doesn't leave out any books, so children get to experience the whole Bible. When sections are shortened, there are editing notes that help explain what happened to link the passages together. The notes do not try to interpret or change the meaning of scripture, but do sometimes explain words or concepts that might be foreign to a child. A great version!
